Guidelines for administering tenure locally
These guidelines consider how to set up and administer local tenure. They are intended to be a practical guide for a municipality or a community. The guidelines also aim to inform the hypothetical Managed Land Settlement (MLS) case study being developed by Afesis-Corplan by focusing on locally administered tenure. It aims to assist with hypothetical answers to questions concerning how tenure could be administered on the church land and the municipal land in the MLS model.
Allocation Thought Piece for Managed Land Settlement
This paper provides some thoughts on allocation in vacant land, or Greenfield, development situations with particular application to managed land settlement (MLS). It is intended to inform MLS model development, but also to have a broader applicability to municipalities and communities.
