Introduction to wiki pages
Welcome to the incremental settlement wiki.
This incremental settlement wiki is an initiative of and is maintained by Afesis-corplan. See this short animation video on Afesis-corplan. If you have any information you would like to add to this wiki site contact firstname.lastname@example.org or make use of our Comments page.
An incremental settlement process can be broken into five phases. Each of these phases is broken into a number of activities. Click on the links below to take you to a list of the activities per phase. The contents block to the right also has links to the same phases of the incremental settlement process.
You can also use the story links in the contents block to the right to follow the fictional story of Pamela and her family as they follow this incremental settlement process. For an overview of the story click here. Click here to see a comic strip of the story, and here for a longer detailed description of the story.
Three other useful websites where you can find relevant information relating to land access and incremental settlement are:
- The National Upgrading Support Programme - NUSP
- The Housing Development Agency - HDA
- LANDfirst, a discontinued campaign that helped inform the Managed Land Settlement concept.
